Our main competition day are Tuesdays, butwe run several competitions at the weekend to accommodate everyone. We have Medals & Majors throughout the season and during the winter months we have weekly social sessions.
We have friendly matches against other local clubs giving ladies an opportunity to experience other courses.
Each year we have an away day organised by the Lady Captain, who also has a prize day every year. In addition the ladies participate in the Captain's & President's days.
At the end of the season we have ladies supper when the prizes are presented to the worthy winners.
A warm welcome awaits you at Trentham Park Golf Club.

As Lady Captain, myself and all our ladies welcome new members of any ability to Trentham Park Golf Club. We are a small section and try to ensure a welcoming, friendly and fun environment both on the course and in the clubhouse.
We play both social and competitive games on a Tuesday morning and some at weekends. We also play regular friendly matches with other local clubs and encourage participation in national competitions.
Here at Trentham Park, we are an inclusive club and can play in club medals and other competitions alongside other ladies or in mixed groups.
Our Club Professional runs a group coaching programme for ladies new to golf. Starting dates are posted on Facebook and on our website. Further information can be obtained from the Pro Shop.
Our chosen charity this year is the Alzheimer’s Society.
The website provides further details but please do not hesitate to contact us for further information or to arrange a meeting to look at our wonderful golf course.
There was a bit of a wet start to Lady Captain’s Day on 29/07/25 but this did not deter the players. They were given a boost at the halfway house with a glass of Prosecco and one of Julie’s tasty chicken wraps.
The evening was a glamorous event with 36 ladies enjoying a very tasty meal, thank you Julie, the salmon was delicious.
The worthy winners were duly presented with their prizes and chat and laughter filled the lounge.
Lady Captain Rose received a voucher and a beautiful bouquet.
Thanks to the greenkeeping staff for perfect pin positions, the catering staff for wonderful food and the bar staff for filling the glasses.
A big thank you to all the ladies who took part in the presidents ladies day. Good support from the ladies section along with the excellent organisation from Kath.
It turned out to be a very hot day, especially over 18 holes. But the ladies coped well with the conditions, with some good scores in the clubhouse. The atmosphere during lunch was good with plenty of laughter, so for me everyone was a winner..
Yours sincerely,
Bill Maddocks.
"Tee Gifts, Chips & Cheers – Bill’s Presidential Treat!"
What a fabulous day for this competition. President Bill was presented with a button hole from the ladies and he enjoyed sending us off on the first tee with a little gift for us all. He then treated us to sandwiches and chips on our return to the clubhouse.
Freda Murphy was the winner with 37 points. Well done Freda.
Thank you Bill for a wonderful day.

Memories of a wonderful day at Mere golf club -a rerun from last year. The weather was perfect. Thanks Linda for organising it. Just to add out of 13 ladies we manage to loose in total 33 golf balls 😤🥴😱. A great time was had by all.
