Summer League 2024,it will be played on available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through the Summer and the competition organiser is Brian Freeman.
The dates will be visible on V1and HowDidiDo two weeks before the actual date but it will be a roll up on the day after normal BRS booking and enter in the Pro Shop prior to the round.
The rules are effectively the same as previous years and the details of the competition are below.
The participants in recent years were primarily from the Seniors group but it is open to all TPGC full 7 or 5 day club members and excludes all other categories.
There will be 19 opportunities to play and the top 8 scores will count toward the league placing. The days available include 9 Tuesdays, 4 Wednesdays and 6 Thursdays.
It will be a qualifying stableford competition played over 18 holes using individual handicaps.
Played on available Tuesday, Wednesdays & Thursdays from April to the end of September.
All normal competition rules apply.
Scores will be entered through the computer.
£2 entry fee per round as per normal club competitions.
Prizes will awarded at the conclusion of the competition up to 75% of the income
Best 8 scores to count for final league tables.
There are likely to be two divisions based on handicap.
